Freiheit for Kosovo? Germany also bombs Serbia When the Berlin wall was coming down, cries of Freiheit (freedom) rang out throughout Germany. Germany's most famous folk singer, Westerhagen, made the word 'Freiheit' synonymous with the unification of Germany... a unification that had not been possible since the end of the Third Reich. Today, it's disturbing to see German Freiheit willingly taking part in the NATO bombing of Serbia. But, as they say, history repeats itself and this is no exception. Prior to NATO's recent campaign in Serbia, the last time Belgrade was bombed from the skies was by Germany in 1941. Germany willingly participated with NATO by order of Gerhard Schroeder, the head of the German Social Democrats. Oddly enough, it was the German Social Democratic Party who overwhelmingly supported and called for war in 1914. History is truly repeating herself in a very short time span. The Social Democratic movement was the basis behind World War I and is once again in power throughout the greater nations of Europe, all of which are now NATO allies. The Social Democratic lineup: England- Tony Blair; France- Lionel Jospin; Germany- Gerhard Schroeder; and the most likely candidate to be elected as head of the European Union, former Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi. What do all these leaders have in common? Support for the a New World Order agenda, currently led by Socialist Democrat Bill Clinton. A democracy based on socialistic ideals does not work. History has proven this repeatedly. Democracy without controls becomes socialism. The most widely known and proven form of modern political democracy was in America from 1776-1861, but this was a Democratic Republic (Constitutional Democracy), not a Socialist Democracy, as rules the world and America today. Let us not forget what happened in 1941 when Belgrade was last bombed by Nazi Germany. It was then that the Croatian-German alliance established one of the most inhumane concentration camps ever known in World War II, at Jasenovac. Tens of thousands of Serbians were 'liquidated' there. The majority interned in that notorious death camp were not Jews, but rather simple country farmers and 'gypsies'. Their crime was being Serbian, and the majority of those who died at Jasenovac were Serbian Christians. Those are the facts. Let us also remember what has taken place in recent years concerning German support for Croatia. Germany has openly backed the demise of Yugoslavia, having encouraged the secession of Slovenia. In 1991, upon her independence from the Yugoslav Federation, Croatia thanked Germany for their support by adopting a hymn named "Danke Deutschland" (Thank you Germany). During the mid 1990's, "ethnic cleansing" took place in the former Yugoslavia, led by Croatia with the full support of the United States and Germany (NATO). Who was the target of this "ethnic cleansing"? Serbs from Krajina, living within their own Serbian territory. The leader of this anti-Serbian "ethnic cleansing" was Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, a publicly proclaimed "student" of Hitler. The headlines we are now reading from the New World Order press have basically named Slobodan Milosevic, Serbia's leader, as the reincarnation of Hitler. In reality, it is Franjo Tudjman and NATO who are following in Hitler's footsteps. Just why has NATO bombed Serbia? NATO is trying to force Serbia to agree with the unlawful secession of the Serbian Province of Kosovo as an independent nation to be controlled and governed by Muslim Albanians with NATO forces resident to "keep the peace". Thus, the Muslim backed KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) has been openly battling Serbian police and army troops. Now, the KLA has support from NATO. Does this make any sense? Perhaps so if you can understand the ideals behind the New World Order and the United Nations sanctioned "one world religion" being forced down the throats of every Christian oriented nation, including America. Regardless of the world agenda, Serbia has the sovereign right to decide matters of internal affairs within their own nation. One can then begin to understand the outrage of the Serbian people as their sovereign nation is bombed by Germany and NATO. Would it be any different if NATO began to bomb Freetown, Sierra Leone, until President Tejan Kabbah yielded to the RUF (Revolutionary United Front) rebel demands? Or how about NATO bombing Tel Aviv to force the Israel recognition of the Palestinian nation on soil that Israel claims is hers? Is there any difference? Not really. There is no doubt that the Albanians living in Kosovo who have been killed by Serbian police and military units in the previous months is a tragedy of humanity. But, is this no different than the U.S. Calvary slaughtering the Sioux Indians; or, the Hutus in Rwanda killing an estimated one million Tutsis? The irony remains that Clinton, nor NATO, nor the Social Democratic leaders of Europe would ever call these acts of genocide, yet Serbia is now the 'bad boy' and is openly accused of genocidal "ethnic cleansing"? What about the United Nations Genocide Treaty? Doesn't this apply to the entire world and not just Serbian Kosovo? Now, Washington DC is calling for U.S. ground troops to support the NATO bombing. One can only imagine what would have happened if the armies of France or England had chosen sides in Lincoln's Civil War and sent their troops to either the south or the north. Opposing nations would have done the same, and American soil would have been the battleground for world dominance. The fact is, they did not interfere with our internal strife, and for good reason. Internal strife and division within any sovereign nation is a matter to be decided by those whose land the conflict is waged, not by outside political interests. Germany had no right to murder Serbians in 1941 any more than NATO has a right to bomb Belgrade today. Our only chance is for Christians to speak out and bring to light the truth and the facts. We need to protest what is happening in Kosovo with a demand for a cease fire. Let true diplomacy have a chance within Serbia. Let the Serbians work out their own internal strife with non-military humanitarian support. Let an impartial and unbiased mediation group be set up to find a mutual solution in Kosovo without further war and bloodshed. If they fail, then so be it. If they succeed, then many lives will be spared. Serbian President Milosevic has said he would support such a mediation, but he refuses to have NATO force their one-sided answer upon his nation. The real war mongers here are NATO, Germany and the New World Order, not Serbia.
