Privacy Policy

What information are you collecting and how are you collecting it?

Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers that serve as that computer's "Internet Protocol", more commonly known as an IP address. When a visitor requests to view a page from anywhere within the Lawgiver.Org network, our Web servers automatically recognize that visitor's domain name and IP address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. We collectively use this information to examine our Web traffic as a general summary. Our Web servers do not automatically record e-mail addresses of any visitors.

What are cookies?

From time to time, Lawgiver.Org may send a "cookie" to your computer. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can't read any data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Cookies do not damage your system. We use cookies to identify which areas of the Lawgiver.Org network you have visited. We also use cookies to make it easier for our private members to be automatically recognized when entering our network.

You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings of your browser. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies, or allow your browser to show you when a cookie is being sent. If you choose not to accept these cookies, your experience at our site and other Web sites may be diminished and some features may not work as intended.

What other information do you request?

We may also request your e-mail location for the purposes of internal newsletters, our own private announcement lists, update announcements, and member-only access to private and restricted areas of our network. We maintain a strict "NO SPAM" policy. This means that we do not sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail location to any third-party without your explicit consent and authorization.

If you sign up to post messages on the King's Court Forum, the information you voluntarily enter is recorded solely for purposes of maintaining your own account within the forum. This information is not used to identify you outside the Lawgiver.Org network in any way. The same applies to those who sign up as members of the Lawgiver.Org network separate from the forum.

Will you disclose the information you collect to outside third parties?

Lawgiver.Org will only disclose personal information in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

    1)   Protect or defend the Lawful Rights or private property of the Lawgiver.Org network;

    2)   Identify those who may be violating His Law or the Rights of any Lawgiver.Org member;

    3)   Cooperate with lawful investigations of any activities deemed against His Law.

Lawgiver.Org uses reasonable precautions to keep all information disclosed to us secure. We are not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties that receive the information without our knowledge or express authorization. Lawgiver.Org also has links to other internet sites that contain advertisements. We are not responsible for their privacy policies or how they treat information about their users.

What else should I know about my privacy when using the internet?

The Lawgiver.Org network contains many links to other Web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these linked Web sites. Lawgiver.Org does not share any of the personal information you provide us with the sites to which we provide links to. Please check with those sites to determine their own privacy policies.

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose any personal information online to sites outside of the Lawgiver.Org network - such as through e-mail, discussion lists, or elsewhere - the information you disclose can be collected and used by others in a different manner than our strict privacy policy. In short, if you ever post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from advertisers or those who are referred to as SPAMMERS. Know who you're dealing with and use caution when revealing any information about yourself. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your own personal information.

Your Consent To This Agreement

By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of information by Lawgiver.Org as specified above. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we might disclose it.
