There is a very wise saying:
"Children are on the OUTSIDE, what their parents are on the INSIDE."
This only means that our children act out our own true inner natures. If we say one thing and do another, our children see through that, and become what we DO, and not say. They have intuitive gifts, and are master psychologists.

SO -- to answer your question -- choose your own friends wisely, and your children will do the same. If you talk the talk, then you must walk the walk. Anything else is HYPOCRISY. Children see right through that, and reflect ourselves in their actions. So if you become annoyed with your children, remember that they are showing you YOURSELF. Deal with it.

Most of all -- LOVE EQUALS PATIENCE. The Scripture says, "Through patience, possess ye your soul." In this way, our children are an enormous blessing, because we have the immediate opportunity to show patience in their guidance. Not getting upset is the key -- because if we do, then we destroy any credibility that we may have.
