The Image

What is the image of the servants of Christ? We are "the image and glory of God" (1 Corinthians 11:7). We are "to be conformed to the image of his Son" (Romans 8:29), and "we shall also bear the image of the heavenly" (1 Corinthians 15:49). Followers of Christ "are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18), "And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him" (Colossians 3:10).

This is what the bondmen of Christ should be like. But the following verse describes what we see today:

Ezekiel 8:12, "Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth."

It seems most people believe the Lord has forsaken the earth, so they go off and become conformed to the image of the world, instead of to the image of Christ.

The Great Contract

‘Civilization’, ‘society’, and all of these words that you don’t find in scripture, are all part of the image of the world. They all join the living with the dead. And lawyers have a big part in promoting this image. Lawyers tempt, and try to trick, God’s sons (Matthew 22:35, Luke 10:25).

Luke 7:30, "But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him."

Luke 11:46, "And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers."

Luke 11:52, "Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered."

If the church (the spiritual body) is separate from the world (the spiritually dead), then the job of the lawyer is to join the living (the spiritual body) to the dead (the spiritually dead) and the unborn. This is what lawyers are all about. Here’s proof! These were the words of F. F. Faville, former Iowa Supreme Court Justice, in a speech given before the Nebraska State Bar entitled, "The Great Contract," 1935, 15 Nebraska Law Bulletin 88,

"A century and a half ago Edwin Burke said, ‘Civilization is a contract between the great dead, the living and the unborn.’ I want to talk to you very briefly this afternoon, my brethren [note carefully the religion connected to the law profession], if I may, about the thing we are trying to do here in America [in other words, it hadn’t been done yet in 1933]. You and I wanted something to do [were they bored?] and engaged in the business of trying law suits for clients, in order that we may make a living [covet money], but back of and bigger than it all, you and I--whether or not we know it and whether or not we are wholly conscious of it--are engaged in the most extraordinary thing the world has ever seen. We are helping to build, maintain, and hand to future ages the contract between the great dead, the living and the unborn. And with the band [this band is a gang with suits and briefcases. A band is also a strap that’s wrapped around the fascists] of American lawyers consecrating [religious denotation] themselves to that great patriotic duty, we will hand to the ages untarnished the great contract between the dead, the living and the unborn."

All governments were and are governments of and for the dead. The ‘great dead’ are ‘the founding fathers’, who were great in their own eyes and all the historical writers. They’re the ‘heroes,’ and the lawyers are engaged in hero worship. They’re idols, and based on images. However, in 1973, the lawyers changed the contract. "We’ll attach ourselves to the unborn only when our balance sheet will allow for it". This is why they have legalized abortion and the murder of children. Every time they try a law suit, it’s not for the purposes of justice, its for the purposes of molding another image, or molding public opinion, which is still another image because you can’t point to ‘the public.’ Where are they? Where do we find them? Are they just some great, esoteric collection of bodies that are out there that have a body temperature that walk and talk? No, it’s another image!

Another image is when you’re pulled into court and they say, "The people of the State of ____ has brought this action against you," Well, where do I find these people? Where’s the guy with the complaint? "Well, the cop’s the one who filled out the complaint". Yea, well, he’s not prosecuting the action. The one that’s prosecuting is the one that’s trying to join the living with the dead…lawyers! The living are those who are born again through Christ. The dead being the court, since it’s found under the rules, regulations, statutes, because they don’t come from the Word of God, they come from the imaginations of men. And these courts are tied to the ‘great dead’, the constitution itself that’s written by the ‘founding fathers’, and that’s another image.

Hosea 8:6, "...the workman made it; therefore it is not God."

Isaiah 17:7-8, "At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made..."

So, if the workman made it, and it is not God, it must be dead, because there’s no life breathed into it by God himself. Whatever is made from man is not of God. So when you look to things that were created by man’s hands and are not from God, you are joining the living to the dead, or you’re joining yourself to the dead. God calls his children by name, and knows them by name (Exodus 33:11, Isaiah 43:1; 45:3; 65:15, John 10:3, Revelation 2:17). When you tie yourself to the statutes with the title of ‘person, individual, partnership, human being’, etc., you’re no longer being called by God by name, you’re being called by the State by classification. "God is not the God of the dead, but of the living" (Matthew 22:32, Mark 12:27, Luke 20:38) "How much more shall the blood of Christ…purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14). "They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead (Psalm 106:28). It’s in ‘death’ that ‘men’ are immortalized. Whose face do you see on dollar bills? Dead men.

The dead we are talking about are the unsaved, the spiritually dead (Matthew 8:22, Luke 9:60, Romans 6:13, James 2:26, 1 Timothy 5:6). Only those who do God’s Commandments will have right to the tree of life (Revelation 22:14), and those are the ones who are saved. The only way that we would know if someone had the right to the tree of life is if they did His Commandments. If a workman makes it, and puts his trust in it, then he is like the thing he made (Psalms 115:8), he’s already dead, he walks in unbelief, he believes that what he created is the truth. This ties in with ‘the great dead’ that the lawyer talked about; those men that we see in history that we believe were great because of their great works. But what does the Bible say about great works? Works do not save you (Titus 3:5, Ephesians 2:8, 2 Timothy 1:9). When you look to anything that men have done, you must ask what their purpose was for doing it. Was it for their own pleasure, enlightenment, for ‘humanity’, or were they doing it for Christ in love?

There’s a difference between being ‘in law’ and ‘at law’. Christ was in law. When you go through the Old Testament books and read the law and the prophets, the law is the image of Christ himself. "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins," he has now made alive (Ephesians 2:1,5). And the lawyer is trying to take you back to bondage, and that’s why they do it ‘at law’. If the lawyers were 'in law,' they would not be able to manipulate it.

Declaration of Law

We now go into a ‘Declaration of Law.’ When any kind of an action is opened up, the one bringing the action always declares the law that he relies upon, and then the accused has to respond in the same manner as the plaintiff opened his action with. This shows he is either one with you or he expresses himself to be a stranger. So, if you opened your action in God’s court with God’s Law, then the only way that he can appear in God’s court is using God’s Law. He can’t walk in with codes, rules, regulations, opinions, or philosophy to shield himself.

When you say you’re ‘in Him,’ you’re abiding in him. When you are of Him, that means you belong to Him. You don’t belong to the world. And when you say you’re ‘in Him,’ you’re out of the world. There’s your separation and sanctification.

The Word of God is not sufficient for these people because they "receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him" (1 Corinthians 2:14), so they have to look to their foolish reason to live by, and that’s where the death comes in. The legislator writes the ‘standard’ into their laws, and asks, "did you measure up to that standard or didn’t you?" And if you didn’t, then you broke the law; therefore this is the punishment for that violation of it because you didn’t quite make their standard of measurement. And the judge pulls out his ‘ruler,’ his measuring stick, and ‘rules’ on the case. This is what ruling on the case is all about. Judges say, "It is the opinion of this court that…". They don’t judge Truth based upon the Law!

Opinion: "Judgment resting on grounds insufficient for complete demonstration. Belief, or something as probable, or as seeming to ones own mind, to be true. Perception of what appears to be true, not the truth itself. Distinguished from knowledge, conviction or certainty" (Oxford’s Universal Dictionary, 1955, p.1376).

Human judges do not know what the truth is. Oliver Wendell Holmes, U.S. Supreme Court Justice for 34 years, made the statement that, "I do not know what the Truth is," because he was a humanist, pragmatist. The humanist does not have the ability to know the truth because they do not know God. It’s sad that he sat there for 34 years deciding people’s lives. Lawyers and attorneys practice law. They practice it. They’re not actually declaring the law. They don’t know the Law. They ‘practice’ it.

What is a census? "We are counting the number of persons that are within our jurisdiction." If you read a case called Franklin v. The State of Mass. in 1992, which concerned itself with the 1990 census, it tells you the whole purpose of the census. "It allows the President of the United States to formulate Public Policy." So this determines what the new police powers will be for the next ten years. That’s the reason counting the people is forbidden in the Bible (1 Chronicles 21, 2 Samuel 24, Revelation 13:16-18). God knows the purposes of men for counting people and taking polls, it’s all done for evil purposes. Otherwise, he wouldn’t forbid it. What they are doing is playing god; since God can’t take care of things, they need to take care of them. And to play god, they must create images. The bondman of Christ must break those images down, bring the light of God’s Word to whatever is being said, and show it for the lie it really is. Those dead to Christ are made after the image that created them

When you buy into those images, you are actually joining yourself to the dead, you’re living in death. A typical example of this is the word recreation. What it really means is re-creation. What are they re-creating? When you engage in recreation, you’re being re-created. You’re joining the things of the flesh, because all recreation appeals to the flesh. They want you to go out there and enjoy the things of the world. They make sure they’re always available to you, so that you’ll buy into them. Recreation as opposed to obedience and duty to Christ, which the bondman of Christ are to engage in only. Recreation is of the natural man, the heathen, that’s all pagan nonsense. Recreation is where you take off the whole armour of God.

There are no games in the scripture, except by the pagan, The only theatre is in Acts 19:29-41, and that’s the pagan theatre where they tried to pull Paul into to try him for commercial violations. The townclerk said he’s not engaged in commerce, so they didn’t have any cause against him. And if Paul was being dragged into the theatre, now we know where all the hypocrites were. They’re all a bunch of stage actors. They can be the stage actors and give you the sense of justice, and give you that image that you’re being ‘well served’ by your court appointed liar…I mean lawyer. And you can be very well taken care of in the theatre, where the hypocrites rule. That’s another image that’s out there. When you go on stage, you’ve joined yourself to the mask of death; the mask itself is the thing that’s defined in its codes, rules, and regulations, i.e., person, individual, business, corporation, partnership, organization, etc. These terms are all a persona, which means "the mask of the actor," i.e., a fictional character that substitutes for the flesh and blood man. From this word ‘persona’ we get ‘person,’ a fictional entity created by the government. This is a necessary use of the word because Martial Law powers can only deal with fictions, i.e., persons. You’re the stage actor when you become one of those things. You become something other than who God says you are.

When you’ve joined yourself to society, you’ve become dead just like them, and everybody that’s in that society is the walking dead. At 7:30 in the morning you put on your commercial mask, you work as an ‘employee’ and work for an ‘employer’ and you work for the ‘State’ because the employer and the employee is one of those legal entities comprised within the State; then you go back to your ‘home’ (that’s another legal entity defined as your principle place of business, under the IRS Code); and you go back to your ‘spouse’ (which is another legal entity); and you take care of ‘your children’ (which is another legal entity); who have ‘educational rights’ (another legal entity) in a government run school that can be enforced even against ‘the parents’ (another legal entity). And you can see that every word has to do with a legal entity or person, it has no truth in God’s Word at all. You don’t find any of those things in God’s Word. You will find the word ‘children’, but all children are His, not yours.

So, let’s say you find yourself all wrapped up in these legal entities because you’ve been trained to speak like the world speaks. How do you begin to tear down these images? What are we supposed to do? You learn of Him. That’s where you begin. You learn of Him and look to Him for all Truth, because that is the only place you will find Truth. And from there, you will see what to do and what not to do, because he has showed us everything.

Just like when Jesus said to the Pharisees that they show people the Kingdom of God, but prevent them from going in, Churches today say, "There is Jesus. Here are all the leaders. You must go through us before you go through Him." They are showing people the way, but not letting them enter. They set up a wall between God and themselves. When they stand before the Kingdom of God and you, they don’t care what the Law of God says (Isaiah 5:24), they have cast it aside. Their back is turned towards the Kingdom of God, and they are facing whoever wants to come in through Jesus’ door (Revelation 3:20). So they have cast Jesus aside. It’s all self-will. They have cast the Law of God behind them, and anyone who wants to get into the Kingdom of God, they can’t do it.

At the end of a pamphlet called ‘The Knowledge of God’ written by E.W. Bullinger in 1920, this is the way he sums up how the pulpit preaches, "The God of the pulpit is an impotent Father, a disappointed Christ, and a defeated Holy Spirit. But the God of the Bible is an almighty Father, a satisfied Christ, and a victorious Holy Spirit, able to break down the hardest heart and to subdue the stoutest will." In other words, God is not tampered with by the workmanship of men. If they do preach Christ, it’s not the Christ of the Bible at all, it’s some other Christ. They show him as being a meek and lowly man to the world, not as meek and lowly to his Father, doing the Will of his Father at every turn. Having an answer ready for every man that came up to him. He answered every question that was put to him using the Word of God. And what is it that the bondman of Christ is supposed to be doing? Having that answer ready for everyone that asks of him. Not speaking as the world speaks, but speak as our master, who sent you into the world to bear witness of Him.

To speak as he speaks, you no longer get involved with the words of the world. When you stop speaking the words of the world, then you are no longer joining yourself to the dead. You’re evidencing the fact that you serve a living God, an omnipotent Father, a satisfied Christ, a victorious Holy Spirit, who has given you the victory over the world (1 John 4:4), because Christ himself has overcome the world (John 16:33), and we are more than conquerors with him in the world (Romans 8:37). When you join yourself to the dead, how can you conquer? Dead things don’t conquer, they only smell, they stink, they’re putrid.

This verse has to do with joining the living unto the dead.

Revelation 3:1, "And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead."

Out of Vines New Testament Word Study, the term ‘dead’ here is from the Greek word ‘nekros’ and means "a church…in that state is inactive and barren." So ‘barren’ would be where Christ comes along and sees the fig tree there and it has its leaves and he looks on there and he doesn’t find any fruit. What happened to the fig tree?

Matthew 21:19, "...Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away."

It dried up right in front of them. And ‘inactive’ would mean everybody’s out doing their ‘recreational’ thing, being re-created in their own self will. Preaching that gain is godliness and that sort of thing (1 Timothy 6:5). And "if you give to us, the Lord is going to bless you and he will give you all the material possessions you ever desired."

If you’re speaking His Word and you’re doing His works, you have separated yourself from the dead. You’re no longer in civilization, you’re no longer a part of society. That’s not saying you don’t witness to the world, because that’s one of our purposes here, to witness to that world, but that doesn’t mean you become part of it.

Conclusion

Isaiah 17:7, "At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.”

So, after God writes His Law in our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33), who are we going to look for our authority to do the things we do? To our Maker!

Isaiah 17:8, “And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images."

So, codes, rules, and regulations, the followers of Christ do not look to to do anything. Those are all images. They have no Truth in them. If you truly are made in the image and likeness of God, you can't look to man's law, you only look to the truth, the true image.

We are to be conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29), but when you look to other images, who are you conforming yourself to?
