I have it from a mutual friend who survived the storm that I should tell you of the following:
You will remember how FEMA distorted the death numbers from the last south Florida storm ( Was it Andrew?) a few years ago, reporting a slight amount when the true number was in the thousands. Now it is more of same. Your morning paper's headlines today said "13 Dead." Yet I have it from early news reports that "160 from the mobile homes were D.O.A."
Further, local residents of Punta Gorda have been falsely accused of "failing to abide by the warnings," yet our source says that the power was cut a full 24 hours before the storm and people could not get any news and did not know that the hurricane was now coming straight at them and could not know at all that there was any warning to evacuate.

Remembering the lawsuit by Honduras v. USA, accusing the same antics a few years ago, some suspect that HAARP was directing the path all along.

With this in mind, it is sort of amusing that the hundreds who left the Tampa area (which didn't even get any rain) and fled for coverage to Orlando, ran right into the eye of the storm. Fortunately, they only got wet.

At any rate, It sounds to me like FEMA is up to its normal tricks.

This is nearly 4 years after the fact, but I just read this and want to say that this is absolutely correst...most of my family live in the Ft. Myers, Sanibel area and the only real news I could get at the time (not the drone news wire lies) was from a blogger who was using a car battery for his laptop to keep the outside world updated...it was MUCH worse than what the mainstream media reported - dozens were dead in just in the mobile home park where he either lived or investigated after the storm. When I came down shortly thereafter, you could see for yourself that it was much worse than was reported.
